Watch them Grow!

This last weekend we went to the park. It was our first time to this particular park since Kelt was 3. It is really big with lots of different slides and it looks like a big castle. I dont take the kids there because it is impossible to keep an eye on them and it would be really easy for them to get hurt but since Matt was going I figured it would be easy to keep track of them. Boy did they have some fun! There is a big corkscrew slide (that is dark inside) and kelt just loved it. He learned that if he slides down the slide on the side of his bottom he would go faster (Leaning instead of sitting straight up). As he is telling Matt and I this I look at Matt and ask him if he had explained that to Kelt. He said that Kelt figured that one out on his own! He just keeps getting smarter and smarter.
Some of the slides were really steep and usually Nohea is a little aprehensive about going down the slides by herself. But before long she was sliding with the big kids.
I wish I would have taken the Camera - I will next week. But here are some pictures from this weekend anyway.

The Kids

Here are some new pics of the kids!!

The Garden

We have planted our first garden. (I feel so provident) It may be a little container garden but I feel like the harvest is going to be huge! Granny helped us pick out things that would be easy to grow (so we dont kill it all).

There are pots full of tomatoes, cucumbers, watermelon, squash, raddishes, green onions, beets and peas.

Every day we go out and check the progress. It is fun to watch the growth. With water and the constant warm weather - everything just grows like crazy!!

My Little Photograher

Kelton is a very passionate boy. When he finds something that he loves there is no stopping him. When it comes to Dinosaurs, Airplanes, Trains, Books he just goes nuts!! Well he has found a new passion - the art of Photography. He takes pictures of EVERYTHING!! I've put together his first portfolio, staring some of his favorite subjects, for you to see his best work!

A Leggo Airplane that he designed.

Just a fun Picture

He is growing so big!! Isn't he?

Happy (late) Birthday Nohea!!

I was just going through the pictures of the month and I realized that I never posted pictures from Noheas 2nd birhtday. (SORRY)

We had the traditional Angel Food Cake with Strawberries and Ice Cream for her Birthday Cake. It is somewhat anti-climatic when you see the pictures but it sure tastes good! It was fun to see her blowing out her candle. She started blowing from a few feet back and then gradually moved closer and closer. After about 5 tries she finally got the candle out.

She almost understands how to open presents. It was a good thing that her brother was there to help her get them started. She got a few fun books, some big girl underware, new PJ's, and the highlight of it all was the Little Tikes Kitchen.

Making Memories!

Two nights ago Matt gave Kelt "SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO!" He told him that they were going to set up a tent in the back yard on Friday night and have a campout together. All day on Thursday and all day on Friday Kelton kept asking me if it was dark yet. He couldn't wait to sleep in the tent with his daddy! For dinner we had a BBQ and roasted marshmellows over the Grill burner. The Smores were yummy and sticky! I remember doing fun things like that when I was young and I am so glad that we are Making Memories with our kids too!

Mom and Dad

My neighbor is a very talented photographer. She has been taking some pictures of us for her portfolio. Since I put on a lot of pictures of the Kids I thought it would be fun to show you ones of Mommy and Daddy.

Isn't he a hunk?? I am SO lucky!

You're gonna miss this!

The Monday after Creed was born, I was driving to the Hospital for a check up. The song by Trace Adkins "You're Gonna Miss This" came on the radio. As I was listening to the words of that song I started crying. I can't believe how fast the last 4 years have gone! It is unbelieveable how fast these children grow. It was only 2 years ago that Nohea was born and she is already a little girl with a big Sassy attitude!! Kelton has become such a big boy. He is constantly telling me how big he is getting "Mom I can see my neck and chest in the mirror!", "Mom, my teeth are growing!" He just wants to get bigger!! I think that Creed must have put on 3 Lbs since he was born, and he is anxious to hold his head up! I can't stand it!

When I got home from the appointment the kids were in an uproar! Like the song says "One kids crying, One kids screaming!" And I started singing at the top of my lungs "YOURE GONNA MISS THIS!!!!!!!!!!!" and I really am!

Granny's Visit

Granny left us about a week ago! It was soooooo wonderful to have her. The kids had the time of their life with her. She took them on walks every day, to the park, and took Kelt to see the KungFu Panda Movie. I can't thank her enough!!
